Blended First Aid Training

Online Component + In-Class Training

By enrolling in a blended learning course for your standard first aid training, you’re getting the best of both worlds. First, you can take a portion of the course online, learning at your convenience. This online first aid training takes about six hours, incorporating first aid theory and skills. Then you complete the course with an in-class component: one day of face-to-face, hands-on first aid training at one of our locations in Ottawa, Nepean, Kingston, Belleville or Peterborough.

Many of our customers have found the blended first aid training to be tremendously beneficial, letting you learn much of the material at your pace without having to go to another location twice. Plus, as a result of COVID-19 measures, participants are deemed eligible for a WSIB-approved temporary certificate upon completion of the online training module.

Blended Course Process

Once you have completed the course registration process, we will send you a link to the course content.

You must finish the online course material before attending the in-person first aid training.

An individual who has not completed the online training before the in-person class begins will not be eligible to participate in the in-class session. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for those who do not complete the online portion prior to the date of the in-class first aid training. All sales are considered final once booking is finished and the online access has been issued to the participant(s).

If you wish to modify an existing booking, you must do so no later than 7 days prior to the course start date. Cancellations and/or re-scheduling of blended training courses are subject to an administrative fee of $25.00 + HST.

Participants must bring either a printed copy or digital copy (PDF, etc.) of the online completion certificate to the in-class session for the instructor to verify.

Obtaining Certification During Covid-19 Social Distancing Protocols:

You will receive access to your online content within 1 business day. Once the online modules are completed you will hold a WSIB Approved Interim Certificate. This Certificate will be valid during Social Distancing Protocols, after this point in time you will simply attend your in-class portion and receive your full certification.

If you do not see any dates below that fit your schedule – Register for the online portion HERE and you will be on our list to have first access to classes added once Social Distancing Protocols are over and in-class sessions resume.
