CPR Level C/AED
The Canadian Red Cross CPR Level C/AED course provides essential training to help participants recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in adults, children, and infants.
This course focuses on practical, hands-on CPR skills and prepares participants to act confidently in emergency situations at work, home, or in the community. Training follows current Canadian Red Cross CPR guidelines and includes instruction and certification with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
CPR Level C training meets provincial and territorial workplace safety and insurance board requirements and is widely accepted by employers across Ontario.
Important Note:
Some workplaces may require annual CPR training. Please review your employer or regulatory body’s policies to confirm renewal requirements.
Course Fee
$65 + HST
One 6-hour in-class session covering CPR for adults, children and infants, plus AED use. Includes Canadian Red Cross CPR Level C/AED certification, valid for 3 years.

I attended the emergency first aid/ cpr course at 8300 woodbine, markham today. I have been to other first aid courses a few years back but never benefited like this one. The instructor Arash was very knowledgeable in the medical field and was able to explain things very detailed and in a very interesting way . I definitely recommend people to come here to complete their courses for their benefit.

Food for thought- I think it would be a great help to all if you include the small first aid kit in the course for a few bucks more and maybe add aspirin in it as it saves lives.

The Standard First Aid & CPR level C refresher I completed at 700 Industrial Avenue was absolutely excellent. I have enrolled in a large number of similar courses over the years and many have been delivered in a dry, canned, and methodical manner. This course, though, was anything but. Longtime instructor David Smith adopted the perfect blend of detailed information, humour, personal experiences, and practical application hints, and I came away feeling my day had been exceptionally well spent.

Outstanding instructor, Hawley Lepine. After attending first aid courses many times over the years, this was the first time when I (and everyone else attending the course) was riveted and you could hear a pin drop when the instructor spoke. He underscored important points in the course by peppering it with vivid real life suspenseful first aid stories, and a healthy dose of humour. Students were coached closely in the practical portion of the course to ensure they were successful. for e.g. application of CPR & AED, as well as splints and slings. Highly recommend this instructor and hope he is available when I am required to take my refresher.

My instructor Hawley Lapine was the best I have had. If he would have been my professor when I was in nursing I would have passed with better grades. He is also witty, intelligent and very interesting as a person. He is warm and quite personable. I know he is retiring and I honestly feel sad for those who won’t have the chance to learn from him. Instructor David is amazing and makes learning the material fun. He makes the most of all the material he has to teach, he involves the whole class, asks for volunteers and what I liked the most is on the second day (if you take the two day in class) if that he has a jeopardy like game that you get to practice what you learnt the previous day. This really helped for the test at the end of day two. Thank you David for a surprisingly fun two days of relearning CPR/FIRST AID.

The class was intensive. The instructor knows his game very well. However, I would like to suggest, being a professional teacher myself, that intermittent short breaks would be helpful for students/participants to refresh a bit. I felt, like other students very tired at a point and some other participants expressed the same sentiments. This is a humble suggestion though.

The company has issues with admin. Advertised time for my course was 9-1. The first thing we were told in the classroom was 9-2. Also my certificate did not come as promised so I had to email and phone to receive it.

I would highly recommend First Aid 4U for any of your First Aid training needs. I completed my Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C through First Aid 4U, a Canadian Red Cross training partner. Our instructor, Hawley, was very personable, and easy to follow. He often gave examples of real-life scenarios that he’s found himself in, or situations in which our training could play out in the real world. Our class was really interactive. I took First Aid & CPR/AED Level C many years ago, around 2010, and aside from the gap in time/evolving knowledge, I learned more about the same topics now than I did back then! Awesome work, First Aid 4U!

I just wanted to let you know that this was the best first aid course I’ve ever taken. I have taken at least six other first aid courses in the pass once from your school five or six years ago, and he is absolutely the best instructor I’ve ever had. He’s very engaging, he’s very supportive. He’s very helpful. He’s very friendly by the end of the course I felt like all the other students were my friends. He listen to our stories he supported us. He complimented us. It was not a horrible experience.

Really enjoyed the course. Teacher Smitty is very experienced and shared some very good anecdotes.Wished I could have received my certificate there and then, though!

Ashraf was a great instructor who was serious yet personable in his delivery of the practical component of my blended First-Aid/CPR/AED course. I ended up needing to put my training to use just days after having completed the course and was able to act quickly and effectively to assist an injured colleague.
While the entities aren't directly related, my only complaint about the program has been the finicky/temperamental Red Cross website. Accessing certifications, course information and profile details has been - at best - annoying.

Josh was an amazing teacher. He took the time to work through problems or questions the class had. He allowed us to build confidence in our abilities to save a life. He is going to make a great doctor. Thank you very much!

My instructor was phenomenal. He made me understand the philosophy of care, the practicality and that got me appreciating safety from a different perspective. I loved the story telling. It really resonates with you. Thank you for impacting my knowledge.

I have been taking first aid courses at different places in Ottawa over the past 12 years and by far First Aid 4 U is the best. The teaching technique, and the way the information is given makes the course really enjoyable. The stories and real life experience shared during the course helped me retain most of the information taught. A big thank you to Hauley who is by far the best instructor I've ever had the pleasure to meet and learn from. I will be back for sure.

David Smith is the instructor that made taking this course as enjoyable as it was. Combining techniques with real world experiences and comprehensive demonstrations really makes you understand the gravity of how helpful these practices are on the field.

Such an amazing experience. Had so much fun and learned a lot of valuable information that could help me help someone in the future. I am definitely more confident now to walk up to someone and help them. Our instructor Mr. Hawley was amazing and very helpful and we learned a lot from his past stories and experiences.

The Brampton instructor is the best. He makes learning fun and easy. If you listen to the instructor (which is his #1 rule) you will pass with flying colours. Thank you Aurangzeb you were GREAT!
My only issues are they need to invest in a Bluetooth speaker as the laptop volume isn't loud enough and a bigger tv would be nice.

In class portion:
- Good instructor.
- It would be better if the TV was the appropriate size to see the presentation, or if used a projector allowing a wide screen.
Online portion:
- Well designed.
- It would be better if it provide a summary of main points for each chapter allowing the student a quick refresh about them.

The course and instructor were good. After the course was completed I’ve started to receive emails stating that they hadn’t received my payment. I contacted them, clarified that they had my payment, and received by email, a copy of the invoice indicating that it was paid in full. Since, I receive an email monthly stating I still haven’t paid, each to which I reply with the receipt, marked “paid”, attached. It is impossible to speak with a person when you call in. It goes to voicemail every time. Disorganized, and to be honest, the emails are rude, stating how it’s problematic that I haven’t paid them, and that it’s an urgent matter. If I had rated immediately after taking the course, it would have been 4-5 stars, but based on the nonsense that has followed, I just can’t. Sorry everyone….get it together.
