I had no idea that learning could be so exciting. Did my blended first aid/CPR C in their port credit location. Mike was such a phenomenal teacher. The content was extremely easy to follow and he made it super comfortable for everyone in the class. I’m even motivated now to continue my learning in first aid and will be coming back in the future. Thank you Mike !!!

I attended the emergency first aid/ cpr course at 8300 woodbine, markham today. I have been to other first aid courses a few years back but never benefited like this one. The instructor Arash was very knowledgeable in the medical field and was able to explain things very detailed and in a very interesting way . I definitely recommend people to come here to complete their courses for their benefit.

Just finished the weekend course first aid cpr. Our instructor Hawley explained and presented the course very well. Sorry forgot his last name. He was also very knowledgeable about the topics he taught us. Thank you!
Food for thought- I think it would be a great help to all if you include the small first aid kit in the course for a few bucks more and maybe add aspirin in it as it saves lives.
Thanks again and great job Hawley!

My training was done on 3rd of December 2024, which was lead and done by the wonderful David Smith! I wanted to say thank you so much to David for the way he made the training fun and easy to understand; I learned more then just training. Thank you for the way you made us all feel at ease because I was very nervous to take the course thinking it was going to be stressful. David has a wonderful way of teaching his classes, making everyone feel comfortable around one another, which made the training that much more satisfying. This man is truly admirable and I hope you know this too. Thank you again so much David (Smitty!). I hope you will train me again in 3 years time!!! Last but not least, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years David, to you and your loved ones and your lovely wife.
Please relay this to David Smith! He should know he's an amazing trainer! Thank you so very much!

The Standard First Aid & CPR level C refresher I completed at 700 Industrial Avenue was absolutely excellent. I have enrolled in a large number of similar courses over the years and many have been delivered in a dry, canned, and methodical manner. This course, though, was anything but. Longtime instructor David Smith adopted the perfect blend of detailed information, humour, personal experiences, and practical application hints, and I came away feeling my day had been exceptionally well spent.

Outstanding instructor, Hawley Lepine. After attending first aid courses many times over the years, this was the first time when I (and everyone else attending the course) was riveted and you could hear a pin drop when the instructor spoke. He underscored important points in the course by peppering it with vivid real life suspenseful first aid stories, and a healthy dose of humour. Students were coached closely in the practical portion of the course to ensure they were successful. for e.g. application of CPR & AED, as well as splints and slings. Highly recommend this instructor and hope he is available when I am required to take my refresher.

Our trainer and facilitator David Smith is a wealth of knowledge and experience. David was pleasant, accommodating, and supportive of all the needs of our class throughout the training. It was a strength-based learning experience and and questions or clarification needed were given with pleasure. I would recommend First Aid 4U for this training and any other for all who may require it.

I just finished my 2 day certification for Standard First Aid, and the experience was excellent. Our instructor, Dave “Smitty” Smith, did an absolute amazing job. Smitty was thorough, did a real great job explaining the why, and set up each scene with some really great examples and explanations as to “what if” something doesn’t go as planned. Well done!

My instructor Hawley Lapine was the best I have had. If he would have been my professor when I was in nursing I would have passed with better grades. He is also witty, intelligent and very interesting as a person. He is warm and quite personable. I know he is retiring and I honestly feel sad for those who won’t have the chance to learn from him. Thank you for the 2 days of learning more than I thought I would

Instructor David is amazing and makes learning the material fun. He makes the most of all the material he has to teach, he involves the whole class, asks for volunteers and what I liked the most is on the second day (if you take the two day in class) if that he has a jeopardy like game that you get to practice what you learnt the previous day. This really helped for the test at the end of day two. Thank you David for a surprisingly fun two days of relearning CPR/FIRST AID.

The class was intensive. The instructor knows his game very well. However, I would like to suggest, being a professional teacher myself, that intermittent short breaks would be helpful for students/participants to refresh a bit. I felt, like other students very tired at a point and some other participants expressed the same sentiments. This is a humble suggestion though.
Thank you.

I would highly recommend First Aid 4U for any of your First Aid training needs. I completed my Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C through First Aid 4U, a Canadian Red Cross training partner. Our instructor, Hawley, was very personable, and easy to follow. He often gave examples of real-life scenarios that he’s found himself in, or situations in which our training could play out in the real world. Our class was really interactive. I took First Aid & CPR/AED Level C many years ago, around 2010, and aside from the gap in time/evolving knowledge, I learned more about the same topics now than I did back then! Awesome work, First Aid 4U!

I recently attended a First Aid and CPR class, and I must say it was absolutely amazing. Here are some key highlights of the class:
Expert Instructors: The class was led by highly knowledgeable and experienced instructors who knew their subject matter inside and out. They were not only experts in First Aid and CPR but also excellent teachers who made complex concepts easy to understand.
Hands-On Training: What set this class apart was the hands-on training. We didn't just hear about how to perform CPR or administer first aid; we actually practiced it on mannequins and learned the proper techniques. This practical experience was invaluable.
Comprehensive Content: The class covered a wide range of topics, from basic first aid for minor injuries to more advanced CPR techniques. I felt confident that I could respond effectively to various emergency situations after completing the course

I just wanted to let you know that this was the best first aid course I’ve ever taken. I have taken at least six other first aid courses in the pass once from your school five or six years ago, and he is absolutely the best instructor I’ve ever had. He’s very engaging, he’s very supportive. He’s very helpful. He’s very friendly by the end of the course I felt like all the other students were my friends. He listen to our stories he supported us. He complimented us. It was not a horrible experience.

Ashraf was a great instructor who was serious yet personable in his delivery of the practical component of my blended First-Aid/CPR/AED course. I ended up needing to put my training to use just days after having completed the course and was able to act quickly and effectively to assist an injured colleague.
While the entities aren't directly related, my only complaint about the program has been the finicky/temperamental Red Cross website. Accessing certifications, course information and profile details has been - at best - annoying.

In class portion:
- Good instructor.
- It would be better if the TV was the appropriate size to see the presentation, or if used a projector allowing a wide screen.
Online portion:
- Well designed.
- It would be better if it provide a summary of main points for each chapter allowing the student a quick refresh about them.

The course and instructor were good. After the course was completed I’ve started to receive emails stating that they hadn’t received my payment. I contacted them, clarified that they had my payment, and received by email, a copy of the invoice indicating that it was paid in full. Since, I receive an email monthly stating I still haven’t paid, each to which I reply with the receipt, marked “paid”, attached. It is impossible to speak with a person when you call in. It goes to voicemail every time. Disorganized, and to be honest, the emails are rude, stating how it’s problematic that I haven’t paid them, and that it’s an urgent matter. If I had rated immediately after taking the course, it would have been 4-5 stars, but based on the nonsense that has followed, I just can’t. Sorry everyone….get it together.
