Virtual Red Cross Babysitters Course

The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency. This course is intended for 11-15 year old children. This course is completed fully online through an instructor led session.

Required Materials

The required tools are designed to be things you may already have at home, if you do not have access to all of the materials feel free to get creative! You will also be sent handouts to print with activities that will be completed throughout the class.
