Flexible Training Options

Private On-Site Training

Experience the convenience and personalized approach of private training, brought directly to your location. Our Red Cross-certified instructors come to your preferred location, and are even able to tailor training sessions to meet your unique needs.

On-site training ensures minimal disruption to your schedule while providing a hands-on, engaging experience in a setting that’s relevant to your team’s daily work environment. With a minimum on-site cost, this option is ideal for groups of more than 8 people, or for organizations seeking focused, practical training without the need to travel.

Public Training Options

Our public group training sessions are designed to accommodate the needs of organizations of all sizes.

Ideal for smaller or geographically-diverse groups, group members would join one of our many public course facilities, offering flexibility and customization to suit their schedule and location.

We are pleased to offer group pricing within our publicly available classes.

Group Discount Rate

For more flexibility on course timing and group sizes, we can also accommodate participants within existing public training courses at our locations at reduced rates. This is an effective alternate solution should private training at your location pose an issue with logistics or timing, and you need fewer than 10 group members trained per year.

We offer a group discount of 10% off (via promotion code) of our existing public courses, booked online through the First Aid 4U website. There are many course dates available at our facilities across Ontario.

First Aid Training Credits

Our new Training Credits system is designed with companies in mind. Pre-purchase 10 or more credits at a special discount, streamlining your direct booking process and ensuring your group or staff has immediate access to high-quality First Aid training.

By investing in these credits, you not only save money and create expense efficiency, but you also minimize business disruption by giving your staff a guaranteed spot in one of our many public training sessions across Eastern ON, GTA, Western ON, and Northern ON.

Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of having your training needs pre-arranged, so you can focus on what matters most—keeping your school running smoothly with a team that’s prepared and safe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do PSWs need First Aid and CPR certification in Ontario?
A: Yes. Most employers require PSWs to have valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level C, especially when working in long-term care, home care, or hospital settings.

Q: Which course should I take as a PSW?
A: The Standard First Aid with CPR Level C course is the most commonly required certification for PSWs. It covers adult, child, and infant CPR, plus emergency first aid scenarios relevant to your role.

Q: Is this training recognized by employers and care agencies?
A: Absolutely. Our training is certified by the Canadian Red Cross and accepted by healthcare employers, long-term care facilities, and government-funded agencies across Ontario.

Q: Can I take this training online?
A: We offer a blended learning format, where you complete part of the course online and then attend a short in-person skills session. It’s perfect for PSWs needing flexibility.

Q: How long is the certificate valid?
A: Your First Aid and CPR certification is valid for three years from the date of issue.

Q: What happens if my certificate expires?
A: If your certification has expired, you’ll need to complete the full course again. We recommend renewing before the expiry date to stay compliant with employer requirements.
