When it comes to First Aid and CPR certification, one size doesn’t fit all. At First Aid 4U, we offer multiple course formats — online, blended, and in-person — so you can choose the learning style that fits your schedule, comfort level, and goals.
Whether you prefer to learn from home, in a classroom, or a mix of both, every course is certified by the Canadian Red Cross and designed to give you the same trusted certification recognized across Ontario and Canada.
Online Learning: Convenient and Self-Paced
Online First Aid training is perfect for learners who want to start their certification from home. With this format, you can complete the theory portion of your course online — on your own time, from any device — before completing a short, required in-person skills session.

While the online portion builds your knowledge, the hands-on session ensures you can confidently perform essential First Aid and CPR techniques before certification is issued.
Time commitment: Approx. 6–8 hours online + 4–6 hours in-person
Certification: Canadian Red Cross, valid for 3 years
Blended Learning: The Best of Both Worlds
Blended First Aid and CPR courses combine online study with in-person practice — giving you flexibility without compromising hands-on experience.
You’ll complete the first portion of your course through our interactive online platform, then join a certified Red Cross instructor for a practical classroom session to demonstrate your skills and complete your evaluation.
This option offers the best of both worlds:
- Learn at your own pace online
- Get live instruction and feedback in person
- Save travel time and finish your certification faster
At First Aid 4U, blended learning has become our most popular format because it balances convenience, confidence, and compliance — perfect for individuals, students, and workplace teams.
Time commitment: Approx. 13–14 hours total (split online and in-person)
Certification: Canadian Red Cross, valid for 3 years
In-Person Training: Learn Together, Hands-On
Prefer to learn directly from an instructor? In-person First Aid and CPR training takes place entirely in a classroom environment, led by certified Red Cross instructors.
This format is ideal for those who:
- Learn best through live demonstrations and group interaction
- Need to meet specific workplace or industry training requirements
- Want immediate feedback and instructor guidance throughout the course
With over 30 locations across Ontario, First Aid 4U offers in-person training in a classroom setting that encourages active participation, practice, and discussion.
