I had no idea that learning could be so exciting. Did my blended first aid/CPR C in their port credit location. Mike was such a phenomenal teacher. I attended the emergency first aid/ cpr course at 8300 woodbine, markham today. I have been to other first aid courses a few years back but never benefited like this one. The instructor Arash was very knowledgeable in the medical field and was able to explain things very detailed and in a very interesting way . I definitely recommend people to come here to complete their courses for their benefit.

I find both instructors went above and beyond Teaching us things even pass The first aid course, which was absolutely amazing. Just finished the weekend course first aid cpr. Our instructor Hawley explained and presented the course very well. Sorry forgot his last name. He was also very knowledgeable about the topics he taught us. Thank you!

Food for thought- I think it would be a great help to all if you include the small first aid kit in the course for a few bucks more and maybe add aspirin in it as it saves lives.

The Standard First Aid & CPR level C refresher I completed at 700 Industrial Avenue was absolutely excellent. I have enrolled in a large number of similar courses over the years and many have been delivered in a dry, canned, and methodical manner. This course, though, was anything but. Longtime instructor David Smith adopted the perfect blend of detailed information, humour, personal experiences, and practical application hints, and I came away feeling my day had been exceptionally well spent.

Outstanding instructor, Hawley Lepine. After attending first aid courses many times over the years, this was the first time when I (and everyone else attending the course) was riveted and you could hear a pin drop when the instructor spoke. He underscored important points in the course by peppering it with vivid real life suspenseful first aid stories, and a healthy dose of humour. Students were coached closely in the practical portion of the course to ensure they were successful. for e.g. application of CPR & AED, as well as splints and slings. Highly recommend this instructor and hope he is available when I am required to take my refresher.

Instructor David is amazing and makes learning the material fun. He makes the most of all the material he has to teach, he involves the whole class, asks for volunteers and what I liked the most is on the second day (if you take the two day in class) if that he has a jeopardy like game that you get to practice what you learnt the previous day. This really helped for the test at the end of day two. Thank you David for a surprisingly fun two days of relearning CPR/FIRST AID.

The class was intensive. The instructor knows his game very well. However, I would like to suggest, being a professional teacher myself, that intermittent short breaks would be helpful for students/participants to refresh a bit. I felt, like other students very tired at a point and some other participants expressed the same sentiments. This is a humble suggestion though.

I would highly recommend First Aid 4U for any of your First Aid training needs. I completed my Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C through First Aid 4U, a Canadian Red Cross training partner. Our instructor, Hawley, was very personable, and easy to follow. He often gave examples of real-life scenarios that he’s found himself in, or situations in which our training could play out in the real world. Our class was really interactive. I took First Aid & CPR/AED Level C many years ago, around 2010, and aside from the gap in time/evolving knowledge, I learned more about the same topics now than I did back then! Awesome work, First Aid 4U!

I have taken at least six other first aid courses in the pass once from your school five or six years ago, and he is absolutely the best instructor I’ve ever had. Mageb, who taught us in Vaughan, in Apr. 2023, did a great job teaching us. Being a trained physician in his home country came through by exhibiting his professional knowledge. However, he also did it in a light, almost entertaining manner which made the educational experience less cumbersome.

Just completed a 2 day course with Smitty........ awesome experience. David is an amazing instructor and I'm so thankful for the knowledge and experiences that he shared with all of us. I hope to never use the knowledge I've gained over the last couple days but if the day does come I know what needs to be done and have to confidence to do it.

Smitty is one of the best instructors I have ever interacted with. Not only was he informative, he knew how to keep us engaged and interested in all the content. I know that anytime I am needing to get any certifications, I'm going to ask if Smitty is the one teaching!

The class was very engaging because of his positive attitude and that helped me stay focused during the whole training. Ashraf was a great instructor who was serious yet personable in his delivery of the practical component of my blended First-Aid/CPR/AED course. I ended up needing to put my training to use just days after having completed the course and was able to act quickly and effectively to assist an injured colleague.
While the entities aren't directly related, my only complaint about the program has been the finicky/temperamental Red Cross website. Accessing certifications, course information and profile details has been - at best - annoying.

I have been taking first aid courses at different places in Ottawa over the past 12 years and by far First Aid 4 U is the best. The teaching technique, and the way the information is given makes the course really enjoyable. The stories and real life experience shared during the course helped me retain most of the information taught. A big thank you to Hauley who is by far the best instructor I've ever had the pleasure to meet and learn from. I will be back for sure.

Such an amazing experience. Had so much fun and learned a lot of valuable information that could help me help someone in the future. The Brampton instructor is the best. He makes learning fun and easy. If you listen to the instructor (which is his #1 rule) you will pass with flying colours. Thank you Aurangzeb you were GREAT!
My only issues are they need to invest in a Bluetooth speaker as the laptop volume isn't loud enough and a bigger tv would be nice.

In class portion:
- Good instructor.
- It would be better if the TV was the appropriate size to see the presentation, or if used a projector allowing a wide screen.

Online portion:
- Well designed.
- It would be better if it provide a summary of main points for each chapter allowing the student a quick refresh about them.

The course and instructor were good. After the course was completed I’ve started to receive emails stating that they hadn’t received my payment. I contacted them, clarified that they had my payment, and received by email, a copy of the invoice indicating that it was paid in full. Since, I receive an email monthly stating I still haven’t paid, each to which I reply with the receipt, marked “paid”, attached. It is impossible to speak with a person when you call in. It goes to voicemail every time. Disorganized, and to be honest, the emails are rude, stating how it’s problematic that I haven’t paid them, and that it’s an urgent matter. If I had rated immediately after taking the course, it would have been 4-5 stars, but based on the nonsense that has followed, I just can’t. Sorry everyone….get it together.
